I was just walking to pick up the mail and to buy some envelopes for work. I took $30 out of petty cash and had it in my pocket. As I pulled something out of my pocket the money must have fallen on the floor. I didn't notice. A man come running up behind me holding the $30.
How nice is that!
I don't know why I am always so shocked by such acts of honesty and kindness - maybe because of all the horror stories you hear on the news and read in the papers.
It reminds me that even though there is a lot of hurt and evil in this world - there are also kind, honest and trustworthy people in this world too who want to do the right thing.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:3-4

The best "preaching" is often expressed in actions rather in words. When we do what is right without saying anything, we can have a far greater impact for good than ourselves. Maybe this man is also a Bible believing Christian.... every Christian should be a walking sermon!
