series 6 of 24 starts @ the end of Jan

I am so excited to find out that the new series of 24 starts on Channel 7 on the 30th January at 8.30pm, it starts off with a two hour special and then a further two hours on 1st February. I just love this show and I can't wait to see what happens to Jack Bauer next.

Bring it on.

I loved 24 when it first started. I think I watched the first three seasons, and at the end of the third, it just seemed like a good place to end it. But they kept going. How much of this can Jack handle? Isn't it time to give the poor guy a break?!

Lara - you know Jack Bauer is a machine, he can roll with the punches. I got into it series 4 and then borrowed Samr DVDs.

Yes, my name is Nixter and I am addicted to 24.

There I said it!

24 started the same year as Alias and I had read that they were the best new shows of the year. I chose to watch Alias instead of 24.

Oh no Tracy - I think you could have just made a BIG mistake.

No no no! I think Tracy made exactly the right decision! ALIAS ROCKS!!

I have ordered the DVDs of season 5 from Amazon... can't wait!!

Oh no - not you as well Lara - sigh.

What am I going to do with you. To be fair I have only seen one or two Alias', is Jeenifer Garner still in it?

Sam and I are watching season five at the moment, can't wait for six! Though I'll probably have to watch that on DVD too...

Yeah especially with planning a wedding you won't have heaps of time to spend watching 24, at least you can watch it later on DVD! Phew!

Yep, Jennifer Garner is still in Alias, and she totally kicks butt! I LOVE ALIAS! And Lost. Also an excellent show. Of course, neither comes anywhere close to Babylon5, and I think Firefly is also better, but it ended far too soon. West Wing is also fantastic. Lately, I'm almost (but not quite) ashamed to admit, I've been watching the first seasons of both Melrose Place and Gilmore Girls on DVD!!

I knew I liked you! I am SO hooked on 24, I'm almost at through the end of season 4. I am SO in love with Jack Bauer. He is a machine.

I liked Alias fine. But it did get a bit muddled on about season 3 or 4 I think. It has ended for good here (I'm pretty sure). I gave up on watching it somewhere along the way. I'm actually not that much into action shows. I like shows to make sense, which it didn't always do.

I am a big Gilmore Girls fan I must admit. Denis has heard that this may be the final season. (we actually pay $1.50/month to have that channel on our satellite just so that I can watch GG)

The BEST show ever is The Amazing Race and we have a new season starting up soon!!

Lara I loved Firefly too, just got done watching it, borrowed craigs' but it ended funny, I was so disappointed. Stopped watching Lost part way through 1st series and since then seen bits and bobs, want to go back and watch it though as I ma really intrigued.

Never seen Melrose Place or Golmore Girls!

Tracy, you know I loveeeeeeeee the Amazing Race but if it was a choice between 24 and the Amazing Race - I think I woul dhave to pick 24. I pray that huge decision is one I will never really have to make!

OH, Nixter. How COULD you?

Are they going to start a new TAR in your area anytime soon? How did you like the family version after all?

Yeah we missed a couple of the fmaily version, I didn't mind it. It was a shame they didn't travel out of the US much but I enjoyed it.

I am not sure when the next series is out, haven't seen any advertising for it yet. Hope we get the one you were telling me about, sounds like fun!
