we did it, but....

..... I am so tired this morning. This morning marked our fourth visit to the gym this week. Woo Hoot! I was tracking OK but this morning when I woke up my body didn't want to play gym. Once we got there it was fine, I did 40 mins on the cardio equipment, a little less than I have been doing the rest of the week and then we did some ab work.

Now I am sitting at work, my body just managing to work with me, I had a fruit boost drink from Boost with an extra shot of something which was meant to keep me going, an hour later IT IS NOT WORKING! I have to push through the tiredness and get to three weeks. Three weeks = routine!

Anyhoo, remember that weekend I was talking about, it starts tomorrow - Yeh!

Hope you guys all have an awesome weekend! Enjoy!

way to go! You inspire me to go and work out. I joined the YMCA here in Austin, but haven't gone yet. :( I need to get on it!

A boost that always works for me (never fails) is a good old banana... And they're so cheap now! Only $3 a kilo :)

You can do it Emily ;)

Tracy, I have had a quiet week at work :)

I love that bananas are so cheap now, we are buying heaps to keep the engery levels good.

good job! We have quite a bit of snow so I haven't been out walking too much. I ought to move my fat rump from the computer and get moving. ;)

Sounds like a plan, Priscilla. Something that rugby players do for training is resistance exercises in water, like running in knee-deep water in a swimming pool.
Maybe now's not the best season to do that in America :) but might be something worthwhile in summer.

Sounds like hard work H, but I bet it is good for you. Swimming is also meant to be one of the best all round exercises for you :)

:) Swimming is fantastic. Increased lung capacity always helps too...

I didn't make it to the class this morning, but I'm going to go do some cardio anyway. On further thought, I should take it a little slower before I get into a more strenuous class. Maybe in a week or so. They have a water aerobics class for all abilities, maybe I'll check that out too.

Yeah just build it up Tracy. Water aerobics is meant to good, my friend does it. Let us know how you go!

Thanks,
Went to an abs and back workout... to my surprise I was the only female... all the women were in the body combat workout... does this mean that men are now more worried about abs and women have become more aggressive????? or am I out of the loop???

That is hysterical Kate, SP and I were laughing. Can't believe you were the only women there. And 'yes' to your first two questions and 'no' to the last one. :)

Try body combat and let us know how you get on. I have to take it easy for a few days but once the antibiotics kick in we are going to start classes. The bike class is good, you burn a zillion calories in 45 mins BUT it is a tough workout, I might die the first time I try it!!!
