Craig has linked email addresses to people in the NSW Upper House and is encouraging we who live in NSW to write a letter opposing embryonic stem cell research. Go to Craig's link and copy and paste the addresses and send them an email.
Gordon is also encouraging us TO ACT TODAY!
I just wrote my letter and I encourage you to do the same!
Let's take action against this legislation and pray that it doesn't get passed through the Upper House.
Here were/are some of my thoughts from when I first heard about this procedure and issue, I posted them up on my old blog last year.

Good to see you doing this Nixter! Writing to MPs, Senators, ministers, public figures, and the media is a bit of a pasttime of mine :)
One tip that I have in writing to politicians on an issue that they are about to vote on, is to explain the reasons as to why it's a bad or a good idea. If you can articulate the strength or weakness of a given position, then it's harder for them to disagree or compromise.
Good stuff!

Oh yeah, the other good thing about articulating the strengths of your position to pollies (which you are telling them to consider when they cast their votes) is that they can see you have thought through the issue. Too often people in the general public assert that Christians don't think through issues, or only rave about matters related to sexuality. If those claims can be countered with reasoned discussion (both on sexual and non-sexual matters) then our positions will be stronger.
:)
I got the guys in the office to write letters too - they were goodies, better than mine but thanks for the top tips Haydn - will log those for next time. Appreciated!
:) No worries. You spruiker, you!
Did you get any responses to your emails? I got two, from Fred Nile and Duncan Gay.
Yeah I got one from Fred ;)
